David Kesterson has many years of experience in both commercial and residential architecture. He originally came to his architectural career through both drafting and construction. His hands-on experience means that he understands constructability issues, is a practical problem solver who has been known to literally “lend a hand” when needed.
Mr. Kesterson’s passion for excellence in design combined with his practical knowledge lends itself to well-thought out projects. His background in construction results in his excellence in contract administration during the construction phase. He has been involved in the planning, schematic design, and construction administration of numerous custom residential projects from Manhattan Beach to Santa Barbara.
Among his many projects have been special needs and multi-family housing, retail, commercial, industrial, schools, medical office, and nightclub franchises. He has managed new construction projects, but also has a special expertise in retrofitting, tenant improvements, modernization, and adaptive reuse.
