Westminster Presbyterian Church
Lauterbach & Associates, Architects was commissioned to complete construction drawings and perform construction administration services for building additions to the existing Westminster Presbyterian Church. The project included the removal of a single story fellowship hall and classroom building. These structures were replaced with a new two story multipurpose building and a two story classroom building which were linked together by an arcade/deck structure. Temporary trailers were set up in the church's parking lot to house their on-going preschool while construction took place. Portions of the existing campus were also remodeled to accommodate the new additions.
The multipurpose building was constructed of a combination steel frame and wood with exterior cement plaster finish and clay tile roofing. This project also entailed site work to accommodate additional landscape, walkways, fire sprinklers and new main electrical service.
