St. Bonaventure, Ventura, California
St. Bonaventure High School, a private Catholic High School, selected Lauterbach & Associates, Architects to provide architectural services for their new administration and classroom building. With a total of six new classrooms, offices, and a conference room, this new building addresses the demands of a growing high school complex.
The program included creating a new parking lot to offset parking lost to the new two- story building, student plaza and new school entry. Relating to the existing campus context, painted concrete block and stucco exterior is complemented with interlocking paving stone (“Quadrangle”), raised, concrete benches and rich landscaping.
